i.e not only the width of the pulse ( time ) but level ( amplitude ) in each and every pass of the laser.. i want to be able to control it.. automatically.
so.. i want the means to input the time of the pulse and its amplitude and then send that to the psu say on each pass of the laser...
not easy to configure i know.. i can do it manually ie set the pulse width and amplitude... so what are the options using the DSP ?
ultimately i want a stepped pulse something even more difficult to configure...
i just share to see if anyone has considered this path.
i am considering the possibilities of buying the lightobject dsp kit to replace the lihuiyu XB Super B1 board in my 80W XB 460 and i know i can create a simple pwm using nothing more than a NE555 but its manual.. not encoded... i could use optics to set the change in amplitude and pulse width too.. ie... if you are making left to right passes... at the end of each pass change the amplitude. and width. it only takes the psu 1 ms to accept the change.. but its not the way to go... its just a means..
so maybe there are other folks here who have thought about it and offer input.. ? it will affect my own decision to go lightobject or not..
maybe you think i am just a bit loopy...
