That "Odd operation" was part of the software ever since I purchased the AWC608. It has been arbitrarily crippled in a recent release.
If you look at the LaserCAD software you will see that the selection box is still there where it has always been. See pic.
I am not sure how I can be "the only one who wants it". It was put there by whoever wrote the software.
Unfortunately I did not keep the old versions of the software. I thought maybe you had access to them. You have all the links I sent you. You can test each one and found out which OS work for your particular interest.
Perhaps another AWC608 user will read this post and help me out with previous versions. PLEASE.

Yeah that sucks.I found that the more flexible we're to allow customer request, the more trouble we're encountering. Seems that the request is never satisfied and fulfilled. It give me a lot of difficult to deal with the supplier as I'm always being blamed by both parties; user and the programmer. That' suck, isn't it![]()
But we have no where else to go. We purchased the AWC608 from you, and have no other access to the manufacturer.
If you could send me the patch that was written to fix this, I would very much appreciate it.Tech_Marco wrote: Well, out of frustration and reluctance, he worked out another patch to disable any movement when power on with XY limit switch disabled. He warned that doing so is very dangerous as there is no limit protection so if anyone have art work exceed the work area, both XY will slam to the side and may damage the XY stage. I'll test the OS before I send to you.
Thank you,
