Hey guys,
I've spent hours trying to figure this out and no matter what I try, I get the same results.
Here's what I'm trying to achieve.....
- Make a fill pattern, (in this example, stars)
- Make a shape, (in this example, an oval)
- Fill the shape with the stars
- Send it to LaserCad to engrave it the way it looks in CorelDRAW X4
But as you can see, every time I send it to LaserCAD ALL the pattern (stars in black) shows up, which is of course unusable. It needs to look in LaserCAD the way it looks in CorelDRAW !
Can anyone tell me what I need to do ? I've read and watched tutorials for Corel and I think I'm doing that part correct so I'm not sure what the problem is. Or if there's another way to do this.
Thanks for any advice

Re: Corel Powerclip and LaserCAD problem
I don't see any problem with mine. But I'm using X5 instead of X4

Re: Corel Powerclip and LaserCAD problem
I was using "Front minus back" or "Back minus front" where star and the ellipse are belonging in two layers
I'm not very good on CorelDraw, and I don't know the function of "Powerclip"

Re: Corel Powerclip and LaserCAD problem
THANK YOU Marco !!!
I made the oval "back", the stars "front" and then clicked "back minus front" and that did it.
I was trying to over complicate it I guess.
Thanks again, now I can continue with some real designs.
Best Regards !
