Hi marco
could you ask the engenier if he could make a patch to change
the horicontal and vertical measuring .right now we are operating in metric mm
but the measuring in LC 5.85 is in a strange manner .
it shows the first lettered mark is 25 but the single marks are 12 in between the lettered marks this are not in mm. it looks like as somekind of inch version even that is not exactly 9 1 inch = 25.4mm)
what means if I wana setup a job I always have to use a calculator to figure out wher to set the job, calculating 25 divided by 12 and then convert to true mm.
thanks
walt

No idea what you said, please send pictures.
Also, when you draw a 100mX100mm square on LaserCad and sent to laser for engraving, what actual size of the image did you get?

Re: wish for change on DSP measuring
hi marco
no I know how to get the outputy measurments exact it is the LC horizontal and vertical measurment scale (see picture)
the breakdown of the mesurtments on this scale is not metric because metric goes with 1mm increments not some 2.5 or so
I have worked my whole live with metric system in germany.
greetings

Re: wish for change on DSP measuring
I don't think that it's an issue. The scale change dynamically vs the Zoom in or Zoom out
What happen for a big machine like 5mx9m (5000mm x 9000mm). If fixed to 1mm, you won't be able to see
Or, if what happen if you want to see 0.2mm, with 1mm scale, it won't display it well.
By the way, you can use the X,Y box to enter exact location or size as wish
See picture. It's a 20mm x 20mm box locate at x:25mm y:15mm. (bottom left)
Isn't it showing 1mm resolution?
I'm not in CNC field and I'm not sure if I'm saying right. Personally speaking, I really don't see the point to make any change unless there are more request.

Re: wish for change on DSP measuring
Hi marco
your screen shows it the right way in mm but mine wher I use the table size of 340X220mm it does not like you see on my screen shot
because like your scree is exactly what I mean.
thats right the scale should change in accordance with the size of the tabel or the zoom on the little machine like K40 what the most guys have .
but thanks anyway
greetings
