Hi all
again after installing the new lasercut 5.83 the following is happening :
changing on the LCD panel the power and /or the speed after halt /pause let the laser jump to another position ( see picture)
the probleme is if a job is downloaded to the machine and the machine starts but the result is now what I wanted I used to change the settings with the LCD panel and start again it was fine before with the old version but now when I start again it startes on a different place what ruins the whole.
But I have to say I can not upgrade the system because I get a "upgrade error"
if somebody knows what can cause this please let me know
greetings
walt

Are you using 32bit or 64bit Win7 ??
I rmembered that you have 64bit OS, right?
If so, did you install the 64bit driver?

Is there an offset to the file you are engraving? Does it start right at 0,0 or have you set it so that it starts to engrave 5-10mm away from 0,0 position.
When you reset the LCD panel it might reset the 0,0 start point to where the last job finished and then start engraving at the offset distance.
Just a thought.

Our programmer said that he didn't do any change on the code but just added a few new features to the V5.83. Those code are nrelevant to the problem he mentioned. Plus, he couldn't duplicate the error when he tried it

Hi marco,
I dont think it has to do with the lasercut programm used to download the work to the DSP it rather has to do with the LCD panel and the DSP comunication because it only happen after the start of the job was is fine but when I use the pause botton on the LCD and change the speed and /or the power botton and hit the start botton on the LCD to work further the job the change in the start position is happen.
but maybe this all comes from the fackt that I can not upgrade the DSP system because of the error what comes up. I had send you the System file what could be used to maybe find the probleme

Hi marco
I got a question after I installed the new 5.83 the programm shows 5.82 is this ok??
I also left my old 5.77version on my computer thinking if something does not work the I still can use the old version but during the installation the old version was changed to 5.82 too.
what a shame.
greetings
