Contoller board causes laser to fire briefly on power up...

We are using your new controller board on three machines.. on each one when we first power up the board , the laser tube fires for about 500ms. can you tell me why this is happening? where can I find a schematic for the newest board? it's the one with the blue face and the back of the LCD control panel is enclosed..

Please send me screen shots of your setting on the PHCad. Without looking at the data you put it there, I really can't tell as I couldn't duplicate the problem here. Of my first guess, it could be something about interference or noise that caused the 'pre-ignition'. I believe you're running a CO2 laser with a PWM power supply, aren't you? Or, are you using RF laser tube instead? Please shot me picture of your board as well.

On your power supply, are you using TL or TH for triggering? When you said the power On that caused the 0.5s firing, I'm wondering whether that happened during recycling power on DSP card alone or does it happen all time when the the whole system including motors, power supply...are starting. This part isn't very clear to me.

By the way, what kind of power supply are you using for the laser and the for the DSP contrller?

I've discussed your issue with tech in China and confirmed that there is a small bugs on the board. Please use TH (level high) to trigger the Power Supply. That mean, instead of using #3 on the laser connector, use #2 instead. The problem should be fixed
