Hello,
Everything is working fine in my board, except that I can't change acceleration settings in manufacturer parameters.
That is, any value I change and upload to the board, it is the same slow accel. in the machine.
I am using PHCad 4.45.
Pulse unit: 16.08
Start Speed 40
Max Accel: 50 -No matter which value I set here, it is the same. Say 50 or 5000.
Max Speed 1000.
Any idea on what I am doing wrong?
Daniel

Re: Acceleration Settings
Have you got it working yet, Daniel?
Have you read Tim's (twehr) setup in the discussion part of the forum yet? It will help a great deal to understand what is going on. He spent a lot of time on it and is worth a read especially if you are just staring out.
I'm at work right now and don't have the manual in front of me to check things out but there are a few places you need to set the acc and speeds in to get it right and not just the Manufacturers settings.
Have a look around and familiarise yourself with all the settings and see what you come up with.
I will be back at the table in a few hours and will check where the settings are.
Rich.

Re: Acceleration Settings
try this dialogue. I think it can be found on the right under the 'machine settings' dialogue box.
