Relay Issue - TB6560 3 Axis Controller

Post by telum27 »

Hello,

I have just received a new TB6560 control board and I'm having an issue using the Relay port. It seems that the relay contact is always made no matter what settings I use in Mach 3. With only power applied to the board the relay is made and the relay diagnostic light is on.

Is this a possible short in the board, or do I have something mis-wired or not configured properly?

Thanks!

Can you post screen shots how the Mach3 setup? What about X and Y axis, are they working properly? What happen if you checked mark on "Disable Spindle Relays" on Mach3?

Also post how you have it wired and what you are tying to control with it.

I set up Mach3 as shown in the "TB6560 3 Axis" pdf manual. I have not tried "Disabling Spindle Relays" but I will do that next.

Also note, under the Diagnostics section of Mach3 I can see the Spindle Output "Output 1" flashes while I run an actual g code program, which I would suspect should be changing the relay state.

The relay is wired as such...I have 0VDC fed into the "Com" of the board relay, and the "NO" goes to the 0VDC of a control relay to enable the spindle when the contact is made.
