Can the LSR-SOLO40W laser cut clear acrylic/plexiglass?

Can the LSR-SOLO40W engrave on acrylic/plexiglass?

It can do cutting but not very good on engraving as it rely on G-Code (or Mach3). But Mach3 doesn't do good on PWM control so as the power level output. For cutting, it does pretty good job.

FYI, the output is controlled by a VR. It's unlike a DSP controller that controls output power automatically (for straight line vs. curve line). The Solo needs manual control of it's output power. But price is the best!
