What does speed actually mean?
In setting up cutting power on the X7 can someone tell me what speed 100 actually is. I have seen post from Marco stating cutting acrylic ahould be somewhere between 1 to 5 mm/s. What does 100.00 mean, what measurement does it refer to?

Speed: 100 = 100mm/s or roughly 4" per second
BTW, no body can cut through acrylic at 100mm/s unless he can get 300W or 500W laser
For a 60W tube as example, one can cut through 6mm at about 10~12mm/s which is quite normal

Many thanks.
