I have a co2 laser cutter, and want to upgrade the controller.
At the moment there is a MPC6515, and have been looking at the AW608 and X7DSP.
Can you tell me what would be the better one, I mainly cut and engrave acrylic.

Hello Pete:

AWC608 is a very mature card and been into the market for about 3 years. The LO-X7 is the latest card and with color LCD display. The supplier is focusing on the X7 for future development. Both card share the same software LaserCad. May be there is bugs on the X7 but it shouldn't be the major one, plus the development is never stop. All bugs can be fixed by upgrading the OS by patches that I posted regularly. So far, I don't here any complain on the X7
