Water Protect broken in LaserCad for LO-X7?

I noticed that LaserCad for LO-X7 directly supports IO->Water Protect directly using Laser1.Protect input line, per manual explicitly displaying a "Water Protect" indication on the display if there is a problem. This indication on the display seemed like a good idea, so I moved my water pressure sensor from PS input pin to the LO-X7 Laser1.Protect pins.
Here's the problem...
When I enabled Manufacturer Parameters -> IO -> Water Protect in LaserCAD, it behaves like it sets the option (requesting the password, etc), but on read-back is still not set. I can successfully set/clear Open Protect and Foot Switch, but Water Protect will not set.
I'm running firmware LO-X7_150308L1 and LaserCAD v7.49, but it behaved this same way in the previous versions of both the firmware and LaserCAD.
Is there something obvious that I'm missing? Is it broken in the LO-X7 firmware?
Thanks,
Joe

Per programmer Li, the setup is on the LCD unit but not from the LaserCad.
Give it a try please

I ran into this exact problem yesterday, I also looked all over in the LCD menus without seeing anything about water protection. Can you ask what menu it is under and what it is called?

I examined every single menu that I could find on the LO-X7 screen, but nothing about water protect. Is there a "hidden" sysyem config menu somewhere?

Under Laser parameters, it shows Laser1..2...3...Water Protection
Not sure why couldn't you locate it

I just realized mine isn't staying checked either. I went through every menu and couldn't find anything. You have a picture or a way to explain to how get there.

I'll look specifically for that when I get home tonight.
Why I haven't seen it? Not sure until I look again tonight.
Thank you, Marco. I appreciate the explicit description of what to look for.

We are talking about the X7 right? Mine does not have a laser parameters in the menu. It also is not under "common parameters". Picture attached.

I looked for about 10 minutes through every menu I could get to, and found nothing. Maybe we need to do a Firmware update. I'm running Version 1.14.12.22

Yes! This secret key combination is confirmed, it lets you alter all of the manufacturer settings normally set in the LaserCAD program. I set them to "open" and reset and the option seems to stay set.
