CO2 Laser Marking Head?

I'm glad I have run across Light Object in my research for building a SLS 3D printer. There are so many great products for awesome prices.

There is still one avenue I cannot figure out how to get down. I'm trying to find an affordable laser marking/scanning head and controller. The places I've called so far only offer very expensive heads ($10k+). There is another company that put together a SLA 3D printer using a laser scanning setup in which the entire unit costs under $3k.

I would like to couple a typical CO2 laser (such as an 80W RECI tube) to a laser marking head. Any pointers?

I'm not familiar with 3D printer. Tell me what kind of laser marking you're looking for it. I may be able to custom make it if I know what it is and how it look like

I was planning on building a Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) 3D printer using parts from Light Object.

Think of a standard commercial laser marking system (that uses a galvanometer assembly to 'steer' the laser beam) and it simply melts a very thin layer of plastic powder. Multiply that times several hundred to a thousand times and that is what a SLS 3D printer is. It builds up a 3-dimensional model out of melting super thin layers of plastic.

The part I'm trying to find is the galvo assembly and controller. Everything else I can build myself.
