LaserCAD Crash

Any of you guys having issues with exporting a AI into a DXF and then laserCAD crashing only some of the time with it?

I don't get it...I haven't figured out the specific issue. Tried different settings, autocad versions, number of objects. Dunno, seems random. I'll upload a DXF as an example (ok, it won't let me =()

K, I went and grabbed a trial of Corel Draw 6 and I tried converting from my AI files...works like a charm. They even load and preview faster. 2008 file type, mm units.

Not sure what AI is doing to those DXF's but Corel fixed it!

If you use ai to prep your file, be aware that lasercad will crash if you have any groups or compound paths in your file before exporting to dxf. Forget about ai files from illustrator to work with lasercad

Yeah...I've given up on that. I'll just use AI for working on it then use Corel for conversion since it's so nice about opening AI files.
