AWC 608 won't recognize original points
Whenever I turn on my laser, the interface always thinks it is at X=300, Y=200. This is the center point of my platform as I have dimensions of 600x400. But I could start the laser in the far corner and it still reads X=300, Y=200. And then it won't let me access half of my platform because it knows the range is 600x400, so it stops when it gets to that spot where it thinks the corner of the table is. I've been able to set it right a few times, but once I turn the laser off and turn it back on again, it just reverts back to being wrong. Everything else works great. I've been working on this problem for a few days now. Any help is greatly appreciated.

hi there
did you set the table size in the manufacturer settings? if you change somethings in the manufacturer settings you need to first click "read boton" then make your changes then click the "safe botton" most people don't recognize this procedure and make just changes then hit safe but this will not safe it.

Yes I have done that. The machine has no problem understanding that the table is 600x400. It just doesnt know where that table lies. And my limit switches do not work either.waltfl wrote:hi there

Hui there
if you turn on your machine does the gantry goes to the home position and stops there???
first make sure your endswitches are working probably replacing them is the best solution because this little mechanical switches sometimes break. if the endswitches don't work the controller don't know anything's.
in your display go thru the menu and select the appropriated settings like in the manual described.
next can you move the laser manually with the arrows over the whole work area?
can you post or send a screen shot from your manufacturer settings this way its easier to pin point.
