Walt is right. There is not very much have done on the latest version LaserCad even though it is v6.47. It's just a few minor fix for big machine only and there is not much difference vs v6.27.
I'll wait for the 'big' change before I post a new one. Currently the programmer is working on "Print driver" and that is a big change and I want to wait for the completetion before I launch another version

i´ve heared, that on Tunderlaser DSP Software is a new material bibliothek.

Marco can you tell Mr LEE about it?

thanks.

The soft limits really are annoying on the z axis when you have a deep motorized table. Mine is 10+ inches. If you use the reset on the z table height, the table does not return to the previous height! You have to then find the correct laser height again. That's a big pain. If you don't reset the z table then you can only move the table up but not any lower than the starting height. To fix that you have to fish through the menus to reset the z. Pain in the butt!! I know I could set the z table to use the u axis but that solution is non-standard and with multiple people using the machine it can lead to problems.

Having the ability to turn off the soft limits on the z would be extremely helpful.

Just received a new OS update with the capability to disable the softw limit switch for the Z. But I'm not sure if it work the way you're expecting. Li said that if you disable the soft limit for Z, then you need to add a hardware limit switch instead. I'm not sure what is that as I never use Z table.

I let you try it. What is your current OS version? I'll send you a file to upgrade it and you can try it

Marco

Thanks for the test firmware.

I have tested the firmware and started a new thread to keep it all together.
