where is the enginier??

Post by waltfl »

Hi marco
I am wondering where the enginier who joind the forum in order to make help faster is.
I mean I dont mind that we play gynny pig for the devlopment but then I expect a faster respond
from the engenier
No offense to you please, like you said you are trying hard but you are very limited to find out what is wrong like we have seen with afew problemes.
I am for my person need a system where I can work without to expect surprises at any time, like yesterday.
I have spend $ 1,000 with you to upgrade the sh... moshi system to something professional but I got to tell you for right now I dont feel like professional system.
My opinion is that it does not help a guy like me who is not just playing around who has to work to make a living, that there are lots of additional wistles and bells added if the core programm has so many kinks and bugs .
A new probleme apeared too I made a memory check on the LCD expecting that the work files whould be still in there but I was surprised again they all was gone then I reformated the memory lets see how this works now
I believe this needs a major overhaul including the hardware.

for right now I have to work with this and spend a lot of time ( what is a lot of lost money) fixing or working around the unexpected

Honest speaking, there is not much I can do in your case. I believed you bought the first card on last Oct , 2011 [update: 9/26/2011]. Total we sent you three DSP cards (Sep,11, Nov 23, 11, Jan 20,12) for exchange but you still have problem with the card today. As I mentioned before, the card isn't perfect and more improvement needed. But it's all small issues and I don't see anyone complain as much as you did. For the memory stick issue, I did test the 3rd before I shipped. But you still complaining unable to write or file misisng... I may be wrong but from what I seem even a little things could touch your nerves and blew the whistles or press the "Emergency" button.

Since you're doing this for living, and you're going after 100% 'bug free' hardware and software which I'm afraid to say that it's "mission impossible" for me as I'm not the programmer and I'm not the hardware enginner to trouble shoot. Plus,I don't have your machine on hand for testing and I don't have your PC to tell what other application you running on your system. If there is some software conflicting on Win7 to other application(s), I really don't know and I'm not interested to ask. Enough is enough and I make an exception to allow you to send the card back for refund, even after 3 months 3 cards.

Note: please return the card within 7 days and I'll issue you a refund (minus shipping cost). Within 7 days, I think you can get another DSP card from other sellers. Then the case closed. If after 7 days I didn't receive the card, my offer will be expired. I can give you the engineer email. But then you deal with him direct and I won't be involved any part.

After 4 months test try I think it is more than enough to decide whether to stay or to pack your stuff and going home. Both you an me are set 'free'

Marco

Hi marco
now you disapoint me totally instead to be thankfull that a guy tells you what is worng right now before you are further done the road and get more complaines as the other customer start doing more work and experience similar or the same problemes ( it is allready happening if you read around the different foren) you going upset with me.this is oversensitiv and in this buissiness on the wrong place
I told you before I feel sorry for you because you are in the middle but you are the one we can only deal with.
I thought it was a smart move that you brought the enginier in that he can then handle the trouble shooting directly.
because most of the problemes are due to lack of manual or just some wrong handling or minor changes but they must be adressed right a way. this system needs to have a technical service if you wana be successfull.

what do you think i am trying to do?? I wana help you to get a mostly perfect product out from a not much perfect source.
just take it straight a guy who buys this system wana install it the hardware an install the software and expect that it runs
maybe with some question about the requirements but if the product is described as compatible with windows 7 then there should be not probleme to run it on windows 7 machine, or what do you mean??
For my laptop this is a brand new laptop with windows 7 on it never used for anythings else beecause you told me it has to do with my computer I bought a new one and it is not connected to the inetrnet the wlan turned off it is just connected to the machine DSPsystemthis tells me it can not be the reason for the failure especially not that all of a sudden ther comes the loading page in chinese up wher else should it come from?? or the newest that I can not even re-open files which was safed from laser cut two hours ago, you tell me something!!!

this would be the same as if you buy a laptop and after you open it up it starts but then comes the first failure message how happy would you be / then you try to go online and it tells you something in chinese, now what do you do ???
for the part that you have exchange it allready twice ( by the way I payd on september 26 but you did only send them on october 18 I was patient or??) but only now after the third card you gave the importand info from the enginier that we have to press the reset botton in order to read from the usb stick thats was the reason for the exchanges and quite a few other people had the same probleme too.
now dont put it on me my friend thats more thenm unfair and bad bussiness practise.
your offer sounds generous but it does not solve the probleme with this system for you just psuh the ball down the road.
I will keep this and know now and will let my other buddys know that I can not expect some help from the maker of this system.
greetings
walt

Yes your card is received and I'll issue a refund to your Paypal account.

FYI, I have ran through a few tests on your returned card and I found nothing wrong with it. I could copy filles with different power setting/ speed to and fro the main board. And I was able to copy all test files to U Disk (memory stick). All resulted in good manner. Position and Origin were tested also and the laser head stayed exact position for each Reset. It didn't even miss a 'dot' from my tests.

Anyway, Tim is going to take over your card for examination and he will confirm with us later whether is it a faulty card or not . Even though you may not trust my testing, at least we have the 3rd person with mutual neutral position to offer an honest and fair comment after his testing

Sorry to hear that the card didn't work out for you. And good luck for your purchase of a DSP card from other supplier.

Hi marco
thanks.
its not that I dont trust your testing but the most problemes what I had was comming during hard working of the machine.
just as a sample : if you download a file from lasercut the display does not show this only after you have started the work it changes over to the right one,
what was the crazy part is in the frist 50 hours it worked that if I download a jobfile it did take it in the memory and I could then run from the card memory but then it changed all of a sudden and I had to format the memory every time to get the new file in
if I did not format the memory it would only do the previuos file.
very strange.
but thanks anyway and I also would be interested what tim finds out.
greetings
walt
