the LCD display does not show the actually workfile after download from the computer right after download is finished ( after beep)
the LCD panel changing the restart location after pause and changing the speed and or the powersetting
please let me know that I maybe can send the old one to you ASAP.

Yes, new card with minor changed arrived. It fixed the 'tail light' issue and the memory download/upload is fixed on the LCD unit.
You may send yours back for exchange. All cards have been fully tested before sending to me. So, if any issue happened again once you received the new card, then no offensive, something must be done wrong on your side.

Hi marco,
no offense but thats what the last two series should be too tested and it turned out if they was tested then just the raw parameter
thats why I was happy as you said you wana test the new ones personaly, I dont trust this guys over there out of many years of experience, believe me.
you know I am actually working hard with the machine and this is a totally different scenario as if I just would do some hobby work.
I mean what can I do wrong if the card does not read from usb stick, or if the LCD dfisplay changes in the middle of the work , or if the LCD dispaly does not show the workfile right a way after download from the computer it only shows when I start the job.
there is nothing what I could do wrong or??
like I said not offense to you.
would you please do me the favor and test the new Board and LCD your self please befor I can send the old one.
I wrote you what the most importAND TEST NEEDS TO BE.
please let me know
greetings
walt

AWC-608B DSP card tested on 1/17/2012
Following is a summary of the test results:
1) Writing files in .UD5 format to a memory stick (U drive): OK
2) Retrieving files from the memory stick through LCD: OK
3) Formatting the main board memory: OK
4) Delete files from the main board through LCD control: OK
5) Delete files from the main board through LaserCad: Not OK
6) Start a new job with pre-ignition problem: Not found
7) Pause a job and resume: OK
8) Resume from a pause that may cause any lost step: Not found
9) Resume a job from STOP being press: OK
10) Miss fire happend when disconnecting power from the mainbaord: Fixed
11) Pre-ignition (1/4" line) by setting Origin and power: Not found
12) Allow power setting change when job started: Yes
Overall, the tests result is satisfied. The #5 seems is a small bug on the software and should be fixed easily through programming. Most major problems have been fixed or not being able to duplicat from my tests.

Hi marco.
first thanks for your work the #5 is not a issue because they can be deleted via LCD.
if you still have the board in your machine could you quick try to do the following
load a job file from lasercut and watvh the LCD what iot shows after the finish download beep
on my machine the LCD display does not show the loaded file it shows the previous file and only after the job then it shows the right file.
#8 the issue is that if you pause the job and change speed and/or power setting and restart that the laser starts on a different place in the same line.
greetings

As I told you before, I never seem those problems you mentioned before. I did test it anyway and I didn't see the issue. When I did the test yesterday, I did stop it then change power % and resume the job. It worked as it should, no jumping issue.
Today, I found another small bug. It's software issue. I won't be able to do text on "1", "2", "3" single digit. I could text "4","6","8',"9","0". But if more than 1 chars enter, then it's OK.

Why don't you just purchase a new set and return the one for refund. That way, no 'empty period'. Plus, I think the jupming issue was not associated to the DSP, it could be the stepping driver. Or, you can verify it by swapping X and Y to try it.
I'm having stomach flu and I won't do any test for today or tomorrow. I need some rest.
