Hi guys
I dont have this probleme but I have set the home position to left up. I work a lot with the machine but never had this issue.
my laser PS is the 40W from marco and I have the latest DSP version, but the LCD dispaly has other little issues like changing the power and or the speed at start a job etc.
greetings
walt

Hey Marco,
I have the same power supply that wctx1977 posted
here. I'll verify the marking on the front (magic marker no labels) when I get home tonight. I will also hook up the multi-meter and check the level on the TTL pin.
I did upgrade the main board firmware last night and the number updated. Prior to upgrade it was 5.11.10.30 and the LCD board version is still that. It did change version info after the upgrade, but I did not write down the numbers I'll post the current version info tonight when I post the results of this test.
Thanks,
Craig

Also, I did finally get around to removing the components to fix the fire on power down as well. I re-tested this issue and it still happened.

Ok did the testing. The board holds the TTL line at 4.89 until I hit start it drops 0.23 when the laser is firing. I did find that if I turn off the machine and back on it does not drop the line to 0.23 if I hit start until the real job starts. It only starts doing the extra cut after I press the origin button to reset the origin. If I turn the machine off and back on it will use the new origin but not fire the laser, but as soon as I press the origin button it will drop the TTL line to 0.23 for that short distance before starting the real job until I restart the machine. I am referring to the origin button on the keypad not in the software interface.
Man Board: 6.11.12.17
LCD Board: 5.11.10.30
I have attached an image of the markings on the front of the power supply. There is a sticker with what appears to be a serial number on the left hand side at the upper back which wraps around to the back. Looks like it is a "warranty void if broke" type of sticker. I'll have to remove a few screws before I can see that.

Sorry I missed all the action, I forgot to subscribe.
Marco, I will check into what you are asking about when I get home tonight. My power supply was purchased from you guys (40 Watt), so it is whatever you sell. I will apply the updates tonight and see if I still have the issue.

I finally received DSP I ordered for testing. I followed your instruction but I couldn't duplcate the problem you have encountered. I were using my PWM 40W PS for testing. I couldn't see any 'pre-fire' issue.

That's unfortunate. I can confirm that mine is still doing it as well.

Re-tested times and still not be able to duplicate problem. FYI, my origin is Left-Top.
If possible, please send it back to me for testing.

I will change my origin and see if that helps. If not I will send the controller to you. It's actually pretty good timing for that since I will be out of town all next week.

The only thing that I'm concerning is the PS you have. Since you and "Gadroc" have the same power supply and both you two have the same issue. By any chance do you have other PS that you can try on?
Now, I'm testing air-assist

The issue appears to have gone away. I think it was related to the job files, because any files I have saved on the machine from before today still have the issue when I run them. New jobs don't have the issue, even when I re-select them. Marco, Thank you for all of your support and attention in this matter. I am very glad I got my laser controller through Lightobject!

I believe my power supply is different from Gadroc's supply. Mine has a switch to choose between 110 and 220, and I got it from Lightobject.

Did you upgrade to 5.85? I have not done so yet and I'll get a chance to try it this week.

I believe my main lasering computer is now on 5.83. Unfortunately I won't be able to check until Saturday. It is definitely 5.83 or 5.85 though.
