Change the stepping value to "6.4" see if it can pass 900mm. If it does, it mean that it's setting issue not the board issue.

The software did change for the different size parameters, but there was no effect on the hardware ie controller or the table
The table still acted like the controller size was 900x600. Remember the table is 1200x900 the software did save the 1200x900
parameter, but the controller still thinks it's 900x600 therefore the table stays at 900x600

Setting any size to the software saves to the software........but the controller never changes always stuck 900x600 so the laser table is 900x600. I need the controller and table to be at 1200x900

Thanks again
Larry

Did you do what I said, change the stepping value to '6.4', instead of 4.92 that you're currently having. Try it!

The machine remains the same, no matter what the software change is. I change software to 300x300 it will save it in the parameters, but the machine stays at 900x600. the software is not changing the parameters on the controller. My machine table size is 1200x900 and it won't get passed 900x600 because the cause the controller will not accept the software input.

Thanks again

Set your pulse unit to about 12.0. If I set mine very far from that (like 4, as you have it), it does not work - all chatter.

If that settles it down, then you can adjust the value by running a test and entering the expected and actual output sizes.

Hi Guys,
When you change the settings in "Manufacturers Parameters" you need to "read" the parameters into the software from the hardware then when you change them you need to "save" them out to the hardware again ( as you know). I always "save to file" as well just as a precaution and name it something like "flat" for normal 2D use or "rotary" for rotary attachment use.
In the drop down menu at the top of the screen there is also a "set to defaults" setting that you may need to change to get your system to the size you want (section 3:13 or page 19 in the manual).
There is also another setting in the "Work Space" settings tab where you specify the page size for the software and you may need to change that as well to reflect your changes. (page 6)

Hope this helps a bit.
Rich.

On page 21 of the manual in the "Control Parameters" section there is a radio button for selecting "Push Move"
This distance can be set at, say 20mm to start with so you can set your pulses/mm for the stepper motors.
"Read" the parameters then change to the settings you want then "save" the settings.
This sends the settings to the hardware.

When you push one of the direction buttons on the Human Interface (the LCD screen), or click on a direction arrow on the screen, the axis you choose will move the distance you have set in the Push Move setting. (this is why you select a small distance to start with just in case the head flies off and crashes into something.)

Measure the distance and then change the pulse parameters to get as close as you can then change the Push Move setting to a larger one like 300mm and do it again to fine tune each axis.

I took mine to 1 meter in X and 800 in Y to test it after setting different distances a few times. (table size 1.4 x 900 )

It's easier to do than to describe.
I hope this helps as well to get your system up and running.
There are so many settings to take into account. The biggest problem I had with my laser table was with the limits.

I change the setting to 6.4 as Marco requested, But it had no effect.
