Hermes,
It has been awhile since I have been able to work on my laser. I checked out your video and it looks like you have it all figured out. Here is what I have so far. X-850mm x Y-280mm x Z-150mm.

- Machine Front.

- Machine Back.
I have every thing wired up and finally got all of the stepper motors working (sort of), but I have a problem changing the um/pulse for the y and z axis. I read the parameters, change the um/pulse using the calculator, hit save, and press reset on the display. No changes are noticed and when I read the parameters again, they change back to what was there before. Much like Glenn from this post
viewtopic.php?f=8&p=8899#p8899.

Every other parameter seems to change just fine though. Marco, please help me with this. I updated the controller to 130922v7 just to see if that would help.
I am also not sure what I need to change, but the Z-axis cuts out when moving up if I hold the jog key for too long. Is my acceleration too high or too low? Should I change the micro-stepping setting on the controller ore will this all go away with the correct um/pulse setting (if it would work).

- Motor controllers.

- DSP controller.
Here is the laser power supply.

- Laser power supply.
It provides constant power to the laser and the BNC connectors below are what I have connected to the TTL pins at laser1 and laser2.

- Synrad Duo-Lase.
I am hoping that both laser1 and laser2 will fire at the same time when lasing. I have the frequency at 5000 Hz for the "tickle/pre-ignition" signal required all the time while running the laser.
Once I get the motion of all the axes set, then I have to try to align the mirror that I replaced. Not sure what the best way to do that is just yet, but I will figure it out. I hope all of this effort pays off, since the laser has been sitting unused for many years.
