DSP does not run file ! Unable to use laser cutter !

New problem yesterday

send a file to lasercutter DSP as normal, everything seems normal. I have done this hundreds of times before.
push "box" and the head moves around the perimeter of the job as normal, the jog buttons move the x/y as normal.
the "laser" button fires the laser

push start, and the DSP beeps as if it's finished without moving or doing any work.

I have run "test memory", I have formatted the memory/file space.

I have loaded a .pwj5 file that previously worked fine and the same problem with that file.

I have not changed any settings in the machine..

Have you tried re-uploading your firmware Andy? Perhaps downgrade it and re-upload the proper firmware just to be sure?

I have now and I get "upgrade error" for any firmware I try.

all report "upgrade error"

Hrm...that's really odd. I've never had that issue before.

I guess I fixed it.
Although I tried shutting down lasercad and reopening it, I tried rebooting and nothing helped until I drew a square in lasercad itself, that ran (yay) and then uploaded a file (download) to the laser and now its working

I never did thank you for that file you sent over a while back. Thank you so much, appreciate it =D. Btw, this is my alt account from where we got our lasers

Its a bug. We experience it sometimes also. It helps to shutdown and restart the PC, but you can also save as U-file and download the u-file to the machine instead of downloading directly.
