LaserCad: files downloading problem

Hallo! My laser is working great, but I have a problem: every time I try to download a new file, there is no comunication between the software and the laser engraver.
Switching the laser off and on, the connection is back and I can download the file.
I have tried formatting the controller memory, using the find com feature end reinstalling drivers and software...nothing.
It seems that after few minutes the USB connection is putted in stand-by or something like this...

Change USB port see if it help. If you have Win7 or Win8, that's very common. You don't need to turn On/Off the machine to get it connected. Just unplug the USB cable and put it back. Then click "Download" and it should work in 99%. Also, check the grounding. Poor grounding may cause the problem as well
