I am seeking help from the Electrical diagram, if anyone could help. The diagram has me stuck.
1. Where do I connect the exhaust fan from the original
2. Where do I connect the X stepper motor power, the diagram has the Y connected but not the X.
3. The diagram does not show power input.
any help would be helpful.

Re: Convert to DSP from moshi
this post should likely be in the k40 upgrade forum but hey I found a diag. by someone else on this forum and downloaded a while back.. sorry can't credit the uploader at this time but here you go... (omitted from dwg is the x-stwp driver is powered from the 24V V+ and COM as well)
ps. in a 100AC setup I found it best to eliminate the jolly green giant and the splitter b/c it caused probs with power to stepper motors.

Re: Convert to DSP from moshi
Thank You for this, I was going to try this but did not know if it would cause performance issues, next step is finding out about the fan and digital meter, I am searching this forum until I com up with a solution. As for the splitter how do I get power to both 24v PSU and the Laser PSU. It looks like a splice but not too sure.
Greatly Appreciated.

Re: Convert to DSP from moshi
Yup. AC to DC supply split out to PSU. Smoke Exhaust fan is AC external. Rear cooling fan you can add for 'power bay' area sits outside behind laser PSU. I wired with a 5V cell phone adapter to AC/ you could try to power from 5V out on DSP as well. I don't like messing with DSP/ try to isolate. I only have a picture of my very first try at the conversion with all the messy wiring.
