K40 Upgraded laser doing some wierd stuff

Post by docwiz »

Hi
Ive just finished installing the dsp upgrade on my k40 laser, have replaced everything including the laser psu which i think is faulty as it wont fire but thats another story. everything seems to be fine until i hit the start button in lasercad, when i hit start the laser head starts spazzing out, i tried to get it to do a square but as youll see in the video link its not doing a square, if i hit the box button it traces out a box fine, can someone please help me figure this problem out.

Looks like it is running a previously downloaded job.

Did you download the "square and line" job to the controller?

Did you give the job a unique name?

When you go to download dialogue, there is an option to "Refresh" This will show all the jobs in memory.

You might want to "all delete" and start again.
