Hi Marco
(oh first big thank you for a swift delivery of my honeycomb)
I have tried to search but turned up nothing.
Did I hear you say something about getting "RF Tubes" that last long and don't need cooling etc?
Would this be something I can convert my K40 shell to take? (oh and of course work with the DSF)
If so, can you please let me have more information or point me in the right direction for details and prices and which power supplies etc would be needed.
Thanks
John

Re: was I dreaming?
Yes, I can get RF tube from one of supplier in China. They just figured out how to make it
For a 10W tube (equivalent to 30W CO2 tube with better quality), the price is $1900, not cheap!
The tube is shorter, something like 600mm (I need to verify). It is air-cooled and it need DC32V 10A power supply to drive it
I heard that the engraving quality is very great because of the beam size.

Hi marco
This sounds interesting..Yes expensive But not in the long run!!
Do they do something up around 20w ( 70 -100) I don't mind cutting a hole in my box I have a grinder!!!
Seems an opportunity to up grade as well as uprate.

Re: was I dreaming?
I was told that there is no 20W but 30W RF tube available.
The price of 30W is about $850 more. It is equivalent to a 100W or closed. The beam is very small and very stable. I really want to give it a try if I can spare some $$$. Until I sold a couple machine (in stock), I don't have extra money to stock one for testing
