I just got the acw 608 installed in the k40, and cannot get it set up to home the way I think it should. Lets start with the way I think it should work.
I believe the correct button is in the Lasercad software itself and I think its called Datum. I think when I click I on datum the laser head, no mater where it is at, should move very slowly in a negative direction on both x and y axis until it hits the limit switches, at this time it starts in a positive direction until its off the limit switches and stops.
here is what happens when I hit datum...it moves roughly 20mm postive direction in both the x and y axis and stops.
How do I get the machine to home? and have it be in the same place each and every time?

Re: k40 new dsp set up
I feel like the boy that cried wolf. I got it figured out. Had a polarity wrong in the limit switches, makes a terrible sound when it crashes and crashes and crashes.
