not new but still exist

Post by waltfl »

hi marco
did you ever find a solution for my problem that the power setting always changes two fraction of a percent from setting in lasercad v. 6.81 to the machine?
it gets annoying, every time I set the power for instance to 11.00% IT CHANGES AFTER DOWNLOADING TO THE MACHIONE TO 10.80%
ALWAYS POINT TWO PERCENT.
I appreciate your help
greetings
walt

Sorry I can't duplicate your problem. What is the version of the LCD? I remembered that I offered a new chip for the LCD unit and the new patch on the chipset allow 0.1mm movement instead of 10mm before. So, is your LCD can handle at least 1mm movement? If it is not (means that min. step is 10mm), then you need to upgrade your chipset

Walt, your chip is updated so no need to buy the chip

I thing it is the LCD unit issue. "0.2%" is really nothing to worry. Just live with that. Not worth to spend $85 for the LCD control unit

The work around seems to slap me in the face. If the dsp ALLWAYS decreases by .2 % just input what you want the power to be plus .2% and your problem should just wash away.
