DSP controller Power Requirment

Post by rushmore1305 »

Hello

I'm doing some clean up wiring in my laser
And wanting to run the DSP of the 12v DC PSU that I have. Is that OK? On the store link it says that it varies from 12-36

Reason I'm doing this is because one of my stepper motors went out and I'm wondering if it's because I have to many things wired to the Chanel's on my dc24v PSU.

Hoping if I give everything their own Chanel the issue of this ever happening will be resolved

I would use a dual power supply: 36V/10A and 24V/2A. the 36V to power the motor and the 24V for the DSP. In most case, you still need one more power supply to drive other devices like the water pump (if you don't have chiller), current meter, and some lightning. It could be a 12V or 24V, 5A or 10A DC power supply.
