lasercad V.688 is missing PPI setting

I just realize after installing that at the lasercad V. 6.88 the selection for PPI is greyed out and can not be used.
why is this???

What's OS you guy have?

Open a file name "SoftCfg.ini" under the LaserCad\AWCCfg folder with notepad or any text editor.
Change "IfEnbleCountAndPPI=" from "0" to "1"
After change, it should look like this: IfEnbleCountAndPPI=1
That should solve the problem
