lasercad v.6.81 shows stripes

hi all and marco
since some time now the lasercad software shows some regular stripes if I run the simulation but it also brings the same result during engraving (see picture)
how can I fix this problem? maybe marco knows something.
any help would be appreciated

I found that importing .gif files resolved that issue for me.
I'm a AutoCAD power user..not Corel. Been looking for help understanding Corel since I got my machine running.
