AWC608 controller and windows 8

Does anyone know if the AWC608 controller (and lasercad) is compatible with windows 8? If so are there any additional steps needed to run it? I've successfully ran it on windows 7 but am looking to get a computer just to run my table and want to know if I am limited to windows 7 only.

It is working for me on windows 8 64bit.
