Open protect and pause button not working at the same time

I finally got around to install a switch on the door of the machine. Its a regualar switch and its wired in such a way, that when activated, IN1 is pulled to ground.

When in LaserCAD the checkbox for "Open protect" is checked, this works the way it should. The laser pauses whenever the IN! is grounded.

Here comes the problem, when "Open protect" is checked, the green start/pause button on the panel no longer pauses the job. Is this an error in the controller or am I missing something?

I tested one of DSP but I couldn't duplicate your problem. I have the "Opened protection" checked and it worked the way it should. Once IN1 was grounded, the machine stop. During this time, hitting Start/Pause wouldn't be able to resume the job. But once IN1 was disengaged (open ground), I could Start or Pause a job

What version of your DSP? Check the OS using the LCD unit. May be you need to run an upgrade patch
