"Random" slow-down

Post by beyondio »

Hi everyone,

We're having some "issue" with our 2011 controller + PHCad 4.47.
During cutting it semi-randomly slows down harder than it should when reaching a corner. Let's say the normal speed is 30mm/s and it slows down to about 15mm/s at corners during normal operation, with some corners it slows all the way down to 5mm/s resulting in extra burn marks.

As I said, it seems to happen semi-randomly, we seem to have somewhat found when it occurs, but can't come up with any solution. See the attached image for an explanation.

I understand our controller/software isn't supported anymore, but if anyone ever encountered this issue and know how to fix it, we'd be very grateful!

Thanks,
Kevin

Fixed our own problem, apparently it had to do with gap optimization not being checked in the document download box. Checking it, fixed our issue.

Glad that you have fixed your problem. Good to know that the solution was the gap optimization . Thank you for your sharing!
