Let me know if you still have the upgrade problem.
Try to use 1Gb, 2Gb, 4Gb, 8Gb memory stick but stay away from 16Gb. Also, make sure it is formatted to FAT32

I have LaserCad v6.27 and just upgraded (or attempted to upgrade) my DSP 2012, I tried v1, v2, v6, v7, v8. The only ones that would load and upgrade were v2 and v6. The memory stick I'm using is FAT32 format but it's only a 256mb but has been working perfect for transferring files.

Below is a pic of my current DSP screen after loading v2 then v6, is v6 high enough to run LaserCAD v6.27 properly ?

Yes. V6 is your version number so you can't use V7 or V8

I did a few dimensional test cuts and all turned out perfect, it's nice to finally have PPI too !!! I'll try an engrave file tonight.
