Z axis set up problems

I am building a buildlog 2.x laser (stock at this point). I have got the dsp up and running for the gantry. The problem is stetting the speed and z+ limit for the z axis. the number it wants is below 1 but every time I put in a number below 1 it resets to 1.0. The z+ limit also does not stop the table so If I put in an incorrect number it does not stop when it hits the limit. The switch is wired in to z+ and grd and does allow a signal when activated.


Any help is greatly appreciated.

In my case, regardless of the value I have for z um/pulse, table will travel 10mm and display will show 17mm.
The limit switch works in my case.
