Which version of firmware

Up until April, there was always three versions of any new firmware update,

The last two updates have been only one version. V7

Does this mean that these latest updates are only applicable to V7,

or does the one update now cover all of V6, V7 and V8 ?

I would assume the 3 versions of the software were to "bridge" different versions together, and now they all use the same versions.

When trying to upgrade my DSP with the latest firmware, I got update error a few times, but just keep trying and it worked eventually.

I went ahead and tried to upgrade with this version and despite repeated attempts, it just gives an upgrade error.

So is there a V8 version of this upgrade ?

Or does it only apply to V7 controllers ?

And if so, is the older and as far as I know, the latest, V8 version firmware, as seen in this link;

compatible with Lasercad 6.18 ?

Hello!

I've never updated my firmware (AWC608), when you release the new version. Can I just install it or must I run the other (previous) updates first?

I'm a bit nervous about it. It is working now so why change it?

What is improved or better?
