AWC608 Will not upgrade ?

Hi everybody,

i got a problem with upgrade my card to newest firmware.
Actual FW is (Board : 7.11.12.17), (LCD: 5.11.12.06)

If i try upgrade with these :

( 120228V7.UG5 - cos i have a version 7 )

All i received was "Upgrade Error !" message ...... on LCD

Try the old patch first. Your card seems having older OS installed.

You may need the 111203V2.UG5 before any patch.
After that, try the latest .28. If not, then go for .26

I tryed them both, but same results .......
What is wrong with that ....

BTW : Card start annoying with water protect message even i got WP pin connected to GND ....... but only on laser1

You must turned on the Water protection on the system setup, didn't you? It's nothing to do with your Laser Power ground. You shouldn't enabled it on the setting. Just removed the 'check mark' from the System configuration menu and you should be fine

so what should i do with that upgrade ?
Is it reading problem ?
What Filesystem is needed by card anyway ..... fat 16/32 ?

Problem solved .......
It was a usb stick filesystem problem ....... need to be a fat32 ( was fat16 )

Let's do it step by step.

The USB should have been formatted to FAT32 under XP.
Make sure the file copied correctly from your PC to memory stick without coruption.

If the USB is OK, then I think it may miss one of major upgrade.

I'm attaching all other patches here. You may need to try each one by one until you get one working.

I'm having a similar problem, but my USB card is formatted FAT32.

So, FAT32 formatted 16GB USB card
Main Board: 5.11.06.27
LCD: 5.11.07.11

update error on all files I've tried.

I've managed through a series of upgrades to get as far as

MAIN: 6.12.02.03
LCD: 5.11.07.11

But that's as far as it goes, I can't upload the latest firmware still. Just reports "Update error!"

What version article you trying to upgrade? Remember. That yours is pretty out dates and, can't loss the ed's latest patch without previous is installed
