DSP Ethernet connection

Post by Greolt »

In the V5 manual that is available at this time on the forum, the only part that is not translated into English is the section on network connection.

Just want to confirm that the Ethernet connection is still supported.

Thanks for the info Marco.

I have read recently where you mentioned the possibility of some new DSP models or features being developed, such as touch pad.

Can you give some indication as to what we can look forward to, and approximate time frames.

Thanks,

I talked to the programmer yesterday and he said that he has an intention to do it. But in the mean time, he didn't has a timeline yet. There are quite a lot of effort doing upgrade on the 2012 AWC-608 board since the 1st version rolled out. The current model is more stable and had all those little bugs fixed. He has been working on the software by adding more features on it or polishing some tools. I have made a few suggestions on the card; power setting responding % vs power output, work file name/ data file naming mechanism, and PPI. I'll let you guys know if there is a major feature added on

Thanks Marco

Sounds like, for the time being, upgrades will be in firmware rather than hardware.

I have ordered a DSP. Look forward to getting it installed.
