another probleme with the DSP

Post by waltfl »

Hi marco and all
first i wish all a happy new year.
here is the probleme:
if I re-load a file from the DSP memory it shows up with all the settings but in the moment the machine starts the display changes to the last file what was loaded from the computer, it does not show the current file.
only if you hold the machine with pause then the file comes back on the display .
this needs to be fixed it is another software bug.
marco would you tell this the guys
greetings

I think you really need to tell us the problem step by step with detail image. When you said it didn't show the info correctly, did you mean LCD or the LaserCad?? Also, what was not showing correctly, the power setting or speed? Were you using software control or panel control forthe setting.

You better send me screen shot for the settings on each file and the info showing on the LCD.

hi marco,
there is no screen shot because I just use the DSP with the LCD after download the file to the DSPfrom laser cut it shows correctly on the LCD.
I thoughd I had explained it , but OK here it is:
after press start botton on the LCD the LCD changes right a way to a totally different file from thre DSP memory with the settings from this different file.
only after pressing the pause botton the right file and settings are shown on the LCD.
I am using soft.
the next probleme what I just discovered yesterday as I engraved a picture the settings was 15% power and 200mm/s speed I startet and the machine goes up in speed to about the right speed but then the speed slows down to about 100 to 150 mm/s and also the LCD shows only 8% power and I could see that the power was realy down, so I had to do another full cycle.
I f I could pose a small video it could be better seen.
I will try to take picture today and post them.
It seams that it has to do just with the DSP and LCD because most of the time I only download the file ones and then after it works like it should be I disconnect the computer and only work with the DSP.
thanks for looking in to it
greeting walt

I still can't tell the problem, please write down the issue under the picture. The programmer said that the power default setting on the LCD is for the "Box" and the "clip". Once the machine start the file, it will load the setting of the working file.

I don't see any "explaination" under the picture but "label" only. I can read the LCD info so your 'lable' under the picture really making no help for me to understand your question. I was hoping that you can tell me the "step by step" how you get the problem. It sounds very odd that the DSP went high speed then slow it down. It seems that you have a lot of trouble on the card, from memory read/write, upgrade, waveing, and speed.

We couldn't duplicate the problem that you're having. The programmer suggested you to format the memory on mian board (note, not your USB memory stick) then do the upgrade on the DSP again.
The new software has nothing to do on the "wave" that you complained about. He said he didn't change anything on the software but just adding a couple features. Plus, he double check it with machine and found no error like yours.

I think we have spent too much time on this board and I'm asking you to return it to me for diagnostic check.

Hi marco
I just though that the explanaition did not go on the botton it did go on top of each picture, sorry.
the probleme is what you can see on the picture I download a job file ( by the way after download the display dont show this downloaded file it showes the previous file only after hitting the start botton it shows the actuall file) the the machien starts and during the first couple second it changes but sometimes it even changes right in the midle of the job.
Ok please let me know when you got the new cards in because like explained I can noy wait for more then 5 days . thanks anyway I will first re format the memory lets see if this changes anythings.
I report back
greetings
walt

hi marco
here is another probleme what I just discovered after installing LC 5.85b I try to reload job files what I have safed with the LC 5.77 version ( in pwg5) on my harddrive when I try to download it back in LC 5.85 it does not show up and another case on some of the job files from the previous LC versions bring the message " there was a unespected error" and sometimes the programm even shuts down.
then I allways have to start from my coreldraw copy new and make the adjustment in the file settings.
I try to safe it to Ufiles but sometimes this does not work ether.
greetings
walt
