Hi, I purchased the k40, then the complete upgrade package from light object including 60w 110ac power supply. Everything is working great except the laser never turns off. When I press the laser test button, it stays on until I power down the unit. If I start a job the laser never turns off when traversing the project, or once it's finished the engraving.
Is this a grounding issue? I've tried everything, including adding extra ground wires in the machine and running my external ground wire to a known grounded outlet.
Thanks in advanced!
Laser won't turn off after its activated

Double check the "TH" and "TL" connection. Make sure the TTL level is set to "Low level effective"
Also, check the PWM output and TTL from the DSP controller is not reversed. DSP to LPSU connection: PWM -> "IN" , TTL to "TL"
Is it how you wired your system?

Re: Laser won't turn off after its activated
Hi Marco, thanks for the quick reply.
I just checked all my connections, pwm is going to "IN" on LSPSU and TTL is going to "L" on the LSPSU. I then checked continuity and still no luck. Laser stays on once activated.

You can test the LPSU without the DSP and fire it manually.
WP to Ground
+5V to IN (caution: full power, must let go within few seconds) Or, use a 3 legs potentiometer(VR) to limit current not over the tube limitation
Let "TL" touch the Gnd to fire the laser. It fires only if TL is connected to the Gnd. If it let go, the LPSU should shut off. If the TL let go and the LPSU still firing, it means that the TTL or the PWM circuitry is damage somehow

Re: Laser won't turn off after its activated
Hi Marco, sorry for the late reply. I hooked everything up as you stated below. Everything worked and he laser turns off as soon as TL isn't grounded.
This must mean the problem is with the awc708c controller?

Have you checked the wiring especially the GND?
Can you measure the voltage on the controllers connector? (see if it works as expected)
