I can't help you, as i'm quite sure that this is caused by a setting like i mentioned before.. but where to find this in the X7?????
Maybe you can check the ini-files or similar files to see if there is something that could be set to use the settings from the file rather than the settings from the keyboard..
Write down what you alter and change it back if it doesn't do what you expect or hope..

Can you vary the laserpower when you change the settings on the keyboard?? If so, the hardware is fine and it must be a settingcase..

This is my logic Kees...

When I change the speed settings in the software it adjusts accordingly

When I change the POWER settings in the software it does NOT adjust.

With these two scenarios in mind, I would think it is not the software but the hardware? Either a wrong connection or a faulty board?

Comments?

When you speedsettings are accordingly, i guess you're right, unhopefully..
Have you tried to set the power in the controllers menu? if you don't see any difference i would suspect your driver to be malfunctioning (hardware or software).
Seen from your photo's i think your wiring is ok..
At the other hand, it can also be something wrong with your laser-powersupply. You could test that with a potentiometer between +5V and GND, to be sure....

Did an output power test with a voltage meter from the dsp to power supply.

Test 1:Three bars all cuts not engrave - starting volts 1.71

Bar 1 - Speed 15 Power 100% Corner Power 100% Reading volts - 2.14 constant
Bar 2 - Speed 15 Power 50% Corner Power 50% Reading volts - 2.14 constant
Bar 3 - Speed 15 Power 5% Corner Power 5% Reading volts - 2.14 constant

Test 2: minor change in corner power from above:
Bar 1 - Speed 15 Power 100% Corner Power 10% Reading volts - 2.14 quick fluctuation to 1.9 I suspect at corners
Bar 2 - Speed 15 Power 50% Corner Power 5% Reading volts - 2.14 quick fluctuation to 1.9
Bar 3 - Speed 15 Power 5% Corner Power 1% Reading volts - 2.14 quick fluctuation to 1.9

Some thoughts have come to mind Kees based on your original assumption that it is a setting. This is a screenshot of the DSP lcd:

It reads the max power is 50% and Min power is 40%. This is about the same readings that I am getting above...2.14 V vs up to 5V on the laser output. Conversley the lower output of power for the corners coincide with the 40%. Wild goose chase maybe - but I cannot find anyway to change these settings - locally on the lcd or in the software, other than changing the power settings

Please do not post duplicate post. It is better to do support if you put all information on the post with the same issue

Thank you

Now my maximum engraving speed is 600mm/s.

Thank you.

Gogo - you may want to put your question in a new post. Sorry I do not have an answer
