Having trouble setting up the LO-X7

I am having trouble setting up the driver. I bought a new controller and then got windows 8. i think i have did the windows 8 set up right but i guess not .can anyone help to get me in the right direction.

Run the X7 with a crossover network cable seems a better solution for now.
The USB chip seems not supporting correctly with Win8

so has the problem been fixed yet? My lap top is dieing and i was never able to get the network cable to work

Yes, go download the latest Laser Cadillac v7.57 and it support Win7 and Win now
