Silicon tubing sizes

Post by jeckardt »

I need some size recommendations please...

What is the proper size of silicon tubing to use as water lines to the laser tube?

And what is the best size of silicon tubing to use for the air-assist head? For this one I assume thinner tubing from the head to the wall, then somehow transition to a larger size silicon tubing to exit the cabinet and go to the air pump.

I've looked locally for a source for both with absolutely no luck. I can buy silicon "fuel line" that might work for the air-assist, but is seems sort of large and heavy. I've not found anything close for the water line, only stiff vinyl tubing which definitely won't work. Or latex surgical tubing, but I'm afraid that stuff will degrade quickly from UV and temperature. I can order some from LightObject, but there are so many sizes it's hard to judge which sizes will work best for this cutter.

Does anyone have any advice on either?

Thanks,
Joe

I have labeled each tube for it's purpose not sure why you still have problem to select it from. The title clearly the tube is suitable for and it won't be wrong with it as most laser tube share the same diameter
