Laser PSU

Post by Kiwi53 »

Hi,
Well just got my new Laser PSU :D , installed it, now the markings on the PSU (from left to right) are H L P G in 5V, work out those ones,
now the other plug (3 pin) is AC AC FG, now in the drawing it is FG AC AC, :? is the markings on the PSU correct or not, don't want to
hook up an AC line to FG an smoke it, so can anyone verify if the markings on the PSU are correct.
Laser PSU is:
Model :-MYJG60W
AC220V
Thanks
Neil

I will follow the legend mark showing on the PSU. Different manufacturer(even same manufacturer) may have different circuit layout

Wait for my reply? :?:
Neil, you still didn't get what I mean?
Just follow what the label is showing FG AC AC instead of AC AC FG

FYI, you can double check with a DVM using continunity check. Place one probe to FG and another probe to the case. If it read "0.0", it means that the AC is FG (means that manufacturer screw things up). Otherwise, you should see high resistance.

The resistance between two AC AC shouldn't be less than 5ohm .

The main thing is How much did you learn from doing this project.
Knowlege is not measurable vs money "$"
Without the stepping stone, you can't go farther or further
