It goes onto a USB memory stick, previously formatted as FAT32. This goes into your DSP (the socket on the left side, not the normal USB B that you send jobs through).
Then use DSP front panel option 1 (UDisk file) to do an update to the DSP.

Hi Nick,
Thanks for that info, thourght you were talking about something else at first, till I read it a few times. Ok a ?, can this usb port be used for
loading a file to the controller?, I worked out that the larger usb port is for direct connection to the PC, networking not worked that out yet but this other
usb port can that be used also for transferring job file to be cut or engraved. Am I on the right track in thinking this. ;)
Thanks

I don't know! I've been wondering the same thing myself but can't, at the moment, see the route through...
I've been having severe intermittent comms failure on both the USB 'B' port and the IP connection, so a third way in would be very handy!
Just keep plugging away!

You can use a USB memory stick to upload job files to the DSP card without PC required. It must be job file (data file with .UD5 extension). If you just uploaded LaserCad file (.pwj5), the DSP wont be able to read. So, you must use LaserCad to create the job file and save it to the memory stick then use the LCD control unit to read the file
