Engraving Quality

My refurbished LS600 had to sit in storage for two months while I found a client to sell it, now that the deal is done, I'm engraving a few tests and the results aren't satisfying, I attach an image of two tests, one from a Shenzen 120w and one from my gravograph 40w. The beam combiner from the gravograph became encrusted with mold and I had to uninstall it from the machine, I believe this is what caused the major drop in quality. Already posted an order for a beam combiner.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
