DSP Version question

Can anyone tell me the version of software I can use with this board. I purchased the machine from Triump Laser (60W, 900X600) and the software they sent was Version 4.18. I tried using Version 4.43 and it seemed to work and I like the additional options for the rotary attachment that this version of software has. I have been having some minor problems in setting up the machine and they tell me that I need to use the version that they sent. I'm only questioning this because their support leaves a bit to be desired. Why I say this is because when I asked them why my Z axis will move up but not down their reply was what type of material am I using and how thick is it. Not sure what this has to do with my Z axis not moving down and I do understand that there is a language issue which I am sure does not help with the understanding of the problem.
The only marking on the board is a sticker that says "S/N:A#PH#41395" and PH-BOARD V2.0 is silkscreened on the board.

I believe you can use the 4.45 or 4.47 versions. I am using 4.45 on what I believe is the same board.
The reason the z will not move down is
covered in my blog. It also provides a great alternative that is, in my opinion, better than using the z controls.
BTW - did they give you the password for the Manufacturer Parameters? For the board from LightObject, it is
ph123 - but if that same board was used by another company in a "commercial" laser, it could be something different.

I did read your blog and commented on the Z axis info you supplied. You have a very informative blog. Thank-you very much for sharing your experience.
The password is the same.
I am still having a few little problems here and there but slowly I'm am able to check them off the list.
The biggest problem I am having now is with the table. When I raise/lower it, it moves a bit (turns a bit to the left or right). I thought I found the problem when I noticed that the bed mounting screws were loose. It did stop the table from moving but it is binding now and the motor can't raise or lower it. So, I needed to loosen the screws again to get it to work. Another example of the excellent craftsmanship from chinese manufacturers. Not to big of a deal though. I knew what I was getting. After all, you do get what you pay for. I could of bought one made here but for the same cost, I can buy 3 or 4 from China.
There may be one other thing you could help me out with (for now), When I try to install the drivers for AutoCad and Coreldraw, the program tells me that it can't find the software. Is there a workaround for this?
Thanx,
Tim J

You will likely never get the table to go up and down with "exact" registration. There needs to be some play in it. You COULD get it to work if you converted it over to a MakerSlide, but really not worth the effort. If you only have 1-2mm movement, you should be ok. If it is more than that then...?
On the software. Do you have Corel or Autocad installed. It needs to find their folders to install the bridge (plugin).

The table moves a little more then it should. I need to try and tweek it up a bit. As far as the software, I use both Coreldraw and AutoCad. I just realized that my versions are newer then what is supported. It doesn't really matter that much. I am getting use to jumping between the programs. I still have a lot to learn with these machines.
Thanx for your help Tim
