This is a custom design PT100 with stainless steel 304. It's fully waterproof, from the tip to the cable. I couldn't find any better model better than this one. It's great for folks doing sous-vide application where water-proof is a must and stainless steel ensure food safe.

The first batch of 50x unit will come in about 2 weeks.

I plan to purchase the following item for use with the JLD612 in a sous vide setup:

Premium Stainless Steel Waterproof PT100 RTD Temperature Sensor Probe.

This item comes in a threaded and non-threaded version. Does it matter which one I get?
Why would I choose one over the other?
