Once calibrated, the oven my brother and I built works great. The only problem is that when we turn off the oven (only use it a couple days a week for powder coating) it looses all it's calibration info it had. So we have to recalibrate it every time we use the oven.

Should the PID keep it's setting when having no power?
Am I missing a step in programming the JLD-612 that saves the calibration info to memory?

Any help would be most appreciated.

Did you hit "End" after programming. If not, try it. And if it doesn't help, then I think you may need to send it back for exchange
